Day Six · Words to Return To

I Know the Way Home

The return becomes yours

If today’s words are ones you want to sit with again, you’ll find them here — just as they were spoken. Read them slowly. Return to them whenever you need.

The Opening

Hi. It’s Sayamol. Day six.

For the last five days, we’ve been walking this together. Today, you get to see something beautiful.

Let’s settle in first. Close your eyes. Breathe in love… and breathe out what no longer serves you. Breathe in your authentic self… and breathe out who you had to be.

— pause —

Here’s the beautiful thing I want you to see. Everything you’ve found this week — the staying, the coming back, the home — was always within you. This week simply helped you remember it.

— pause —

So let me say the thing this whole week has been building toward. There’s a difference between being walked home… and knowing the way home. This week, you’ve been finding your way. Today, you discover that you already know it.

Coming home to yourself isn’t something you have to be shown anymore. It’s something you know how to do for yourself. And you’ve been doing it all week.

— pause —

Now here’s what’s real about today. I’m not going to be in your ear when it happens. You’re going to be in the middle of your ordinary life — a hard conversation, a lonely hour, a moment someone needs something from you — and you’re going to feel yourself start to leave. The overpay. The reach. The drift. It’s going to happen, because it’s a lifetime of practice, and one week doesn’t erase it.

But here’s what’s different now. You’ll notice. And the moment you notice you’ve left — that’s not failure. That’s the whole skill. The moment you notice… you’re already on your way back.

— pause —

So I’m going to give you something to take with you. A way home you can do anywhere, with no audio, no journal, no me. We’re going to call it The Return.

It’s almost a mantra. Four words. Simple enough to remember when everything in you is spinning.

Notice. Hand on heart. Breathe. Return. You can do it in a grocery store line, in the middle of an argument, lying awake at 2am. Nobody even has to know you’re doing it.

— pause —

Let’s do it once together, so it’s in your hands before you go. Think of a moment you might drift today. See it. Now — notice. Hand on heart. Breathe — in love… out what no longer serves you. Return. And you’re back.

That’s the whole thing. You just did it. And you can do it again, on your own, every time you need it for the rest of your life.

— pause —

And here’s what I most want you to understand. Every time you do The Return — every time you catch yourself drifting and choose to come back — you’re not just managing a feeling. You’re becoming someone. You’re becoming someone you can trust. Because every time you return, you keep your word to yourself.

— pause —

So let me give you the truth this whole week has been pointing at. Home was never a place. It was always a relationship with yourself. You’ve been looking for it in other people, in being needed, in getting it right — and it was here the whole time, in whether you stay with yourself or leave. And now you know how to stay. Now you know the way back.

— pause —

Every time you choose The Return, you’re choosing yourself. Again. And again. Until one day, coming home isn’t something you remember to do. It’s simply who you are.

You don’t have to remember every step perfectly. You only have to remember one thing — the way home is already within you. And every time you choose to return, you’re not becoming someone new. You’re remembering who you’ve always been.

When you’re ready, turn the page. The rest of today is yours.

The Closing

So — did you drift today? Of course you did. We all do. And did you find your way back, even once, even messily? Then you did the thing that changes everything.

Today, you came back for yourself. That’s enough for today.

So just breathe. You know the way now. You’ll always know the way.

Rest tonight. Tomorrow… we remember the magic.
