Day Seven · Words to Return To

The Promise

You can trust yourself now

If today’s words are ones you want to sit with again, you’ll find them here — just as they were spoken. Read them slowly. Return to them whenever you need.

The Opening

Hi. It’s Sayamol. Day seven. The last one.

Let’s begin the way we always have. Close your eyes. Breathe in love… and breathe out what no longer serves you. Breathe in your authentic self… and breathe out who you had to be.

— pause —

Seven days ago, someone pressed play. Maybe you remember that. You weren’t sure this would work. You were tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix. You’d been carrying a version of yourself that took so much to hold up, and somewhere underneath it, you weren’t sure you could trust yourself anymore.

I want you to think about that person for a moment. Be gentle with them. They didn’t know yet what you know now.

— pause —

Because look at what you already know how to do.

You know how to feel. You stopped running long enough to let something move through you, and it didn’t break you. You know how to stay — you put your hand on your heart in a moment you’d normally have fled, and you stayed. And you know how to return. You learned the way home, and you can find it from anywhere now.

You didn’t have any of that seven days ago. You weren’t given it. You built it. It was always in you — but this week, you remembered how to use it.

— pause —

So here’s the thing I want you to be able to trust now. And listen closely, because it’s not what you think.

I’m not going to tell you that you’ll never leave yourself again. You will. You’re human. There will be days you overpay. Days you drift. Days you catch yourself a hundred miles from home and wonder how you got there again.

That’s not failure. That was never the thing to fear.

— pause —

Because the real magic isn’t never drifting. It’s no longer fearing the drift. It’s knowing — all the way down — that no matter how far you go, you know the way back. And someone who knows they’ll always come back for themselves… that’s someone who can trust themselves.

— pause —

That’s what you built this week. Not a perfect version of you. Something better. A relationship.

You’re not someone new. You never needed to be. The Magic You was never missing. It was simply there, waiting for you to return.

— pause —

So today, there’s no exercise. No practice to carry. Just one thing left to do — and it’s on the next page. A promise. The only one that matters now.

When you’re ready, turn the page.

The Closing

You signed it. So let me say the last thing — and then I’m going to let you go, gently.

You came home this week. Not all the way, not perfectly — that was never the point. You came home enough to know the door is always open, and you’re the one who holds the key.

So whenever you lose your way — and you will, because that’s being alive — remember the only thing you need.

Come home. Again. And again.

I walked beside you while you remembered.
