Catch The Moment

One small thing to bring with you. You’re not changing anything — only catching the moment you set yourself down.

Through your day, watch for the half-second where you feel your own need and set it down to reach for someone else’s.

When you catch it, you don’t have to change a thing. Just put your hand on your chest for one breath and silently say: I see you. I’m not leaving you here. Then carry on.

You’re not learning to say no. You’re learning to stay with yourself for one breath before you go.
