A few times today, stop and ask: am I holding my breath right now?

Sometimes, the first sign you’ve left yourself is a held breath — a body braced to protect itself. When you catch it, let one slow exhale go, and notice what you were bracing for.

That’s it. Just one breath, returned to yourself.
